OFFICIAL SOFTWARE

Every Tiger Web Link package came bundled with a CD-ROM containing the official “linking” software for Windows. This software is basically useless nowadays, since it requires an active connection to Tiger's web service, which is long gone.

However, the CD-ROM also contains some low-quality AVI video format versions of the three game.com television commercials, and several silent gameplay videos: some of which contain prototype elements! These materials are certainly worth a look.

GCLINK

Developed by Joshua Neal, gclink is a command line utility that allows data to be transferred to and from the game.com's internal save RAM. The program was still in an early investigative state of development when it was discontinued, however its code should provide an interesting bit of technical information to aspiring developers.

Currently, the source code to version 0.2 is the only download available. If you can help provide any of the compiled binaries from 1999, and / or the source code to version 0.1, please e-mail me!
