I. GAME DESCRIPTION
Galaxy fighter, equipped with the most advanced weapons in 2999, is ordered to carry out a mission from the earth to destroy the merciless 'Super Lusa Empire' whose forces are advancing against Galaxy. It is the last hope for Galaxy. And it is also the greatest task for you to complete. Be bold! Get ready! And go!!
II. GETTING STARTED
After the power has been switched on, the logo and title screens will be displayed. Press START key to start the game.
III. HOW TO PLAY
A. Goal
Your goal is to save Galaxy by destroying all the space stations of 'Super Lusa Empire'. You have to pass through three space stations to win. The heads of the space station, Chief #1 and Chief #2, will guard at the entry of the space station at stage 1 and stage 2 respectively. At stage 3, you have to kill both chiefs before ruining the space station. The chiefs are so tough that it is a fatal battle to beat them down.
B. Game over
Eight chances are given initially. The small fighters shown at the bottom of the left-hand of the screen remind you the number of chances left. Once you are unlucky enough to be destroyed by your enemies, one small fighter will disappear from the screen and you will go back to the current stage again. Game will be over if you have lost all the eight chances.
C. Control
During the mission, your enemies will block your way by making non- stopping raids on you. So be alert and always keep your mind clear controlling the DIRECTION keys to avoid the attacks from your enemies and pressing B-key to shoot the advancing adversaries. Galaxy Fighter was not programmed to feature an ending sequence. After defeating the stage three bosses, a raging storm of enemies starts coming after your ship. This final wave of fighters eventually dies down, replaced by an asteroid field which is likely impossible to navigate through without cheating. Escape from the asteroid field, and the gameplay starts over from the beginning.
