I N S T R U C T I O N S
GAME DESCRIPTION

“SUPER BLOCK” contains three block games - 'PLAY BLOCK”, “FILL BLOCK” & “HIT
BLOCK”. Use the UP/DOWN key to select a game to play, then press the A-key or START
key will take you to the first stage of that game. Details are described below. Press
A-key + B-key + START + SELECT will reset the game.
If you fail to achieve the objective of the game, the CONTINUE/END screen will be
displayed. Use the UP/DOWN key to select and press START to confirm. If you succeed
in achieving the objective, you will automatically enter the next stage.

• PLAY BLOCK
GAME DESCRIPTION

The block number in the middle of the top screen is the total number of target blocks set
up for the current stage. Target blocks are found at the bottom left hand corner. You have
to leave clear the number of target blocks by destroying the other blocks. To destroy a block,
the man on right must push the moving block to hit target blocks of the same type. Non-
destroyable blocks on top left corner can be used to divert the moving block at right
angles. There are 40 stages in the game. It will be getting more difficult to leave clear
the number of target blocks at higher stages.
GAME SCORE
The highest score will be kept as a record. Each time a block or chains of blocks are
destroyed, the score points awarded will be displayed.

• FILL BLOCK
GAME DESCRIPTION

The object of this game is to fill up the gaps of the descending, irregular blocks before
they reach the dash line just above the launching stand. Once the gaps are filled to form
a complete rectangular object, the whole block will disappear. The game ends when the
descending blocks reach the dash line.
Having selected the game you are presented with an option screen to choose a starting
stage in the game. There are 6 stages. The higher the stage, the faster the irregular
blocks fall.
GAME SCORE
Points will be awarded whenever rectangular blocks are formed & disappeared.

• HIT BLOCK
GAME DESCRIPTION

This game is very similar to that of FILL BLOCK. Your objective is to hit and remove falling
target blocks. The launching stand is able to send out 4 types of hitting blocks -
rectangular, triangle, circle & cross. If the hitting block type matches that of the target
block, the target block will disappear. You are given the option to choose the entering
stage of the game. The game ends when the target block reaches the dash line.
